This will probably be my last post about the major accident I was victim to in September 2016. It was a devastating accident that really messed me up mentally, emotionally, and had physical consequences.
It took many months of speech therapy and regular therapy to return me to “normal” even though that’s a loaded word. I had to learn new ways of working. New ways of living. And I’ve come out of this cocoon of trauma as a new person.
Life has mostly returned to normal. I have new rhythms, goals, hopes, and dreams, but I’m here! Here’s to 2019 and beyond. Thanks to those near and far who supported me and my husband through these crazy times. We couldn’t have done it without you. Happy Holidays and happy new year!
